Privacy policy
The personal data of our users is one of the areas to which we pay extreme care and attention. The manager of the Digics.si online store, DigicS d.o.o., is obliged to protect the personal data of its users in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1-UPB1).
For business purposes, Digics.si (www.digics.si) collects the following user data:
- name and surname,
- business name,
- VAT ID
- address and place of residence,
- email address (your username),
- contact telephone number,
- password in encrypted form,
- and other data that users enter in the forms on the Digics.si website.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of the data entered by users.
For security purposes, IP addresses are also collected from which users access the website. At the beginning of the visit, each user is assigned a session cookie to identify and monitor the shopping cart. Digics.si can also store some permanent cookies on your computer, ie: user identification number in encrypted form (for identification on the next visit) and four cookies from the Google Analytics system (analysis of website visits).
All mentioned data, except cookies, are stored permanently on the Digics.si server (www.digics.si). Session cookies are stored in the server’s memory only for the duration of the visit and are deleted after one hour of inactivity, while persistent cookies are stored on the visitor’s computer.
The Digics.si administrator may use the data in an anonymised summary form for the purposes of statistical analysis.
The manager of the Digics.si online store (www.digics.si) will in no case hand over user data to unauthorized persons. We will only entrust the user’s delivery address to the delivery service (eg GLS Slovenia). We will contact the user via means of distance communication only if the user does not explicitly object to this.

In Digics d.o.o. we perform the activity computer programming (activity code 62.010). We recognize that protecting your privacy and your personal information is a very important area. We also pay a lot of attention to this aspect when carrying out our online activities. Our data protection policy is therefore in line with the applicable provisions in the field of personal data protection and other legal provisions of the Republic of Slovenia as well as with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (hereinafter GDPR).
In order to provide the most effective protection against manipulation, loss of data and their destruction, and to prevent access to them by unauthorized third parties, we use technical security measures, which we upgrade in accordance with technological developments and legal changes.
In the Personal Data Protection Policy, we explain which of your personal data we collect and what we use it for. In the following, we also state where we obtain personal data from, how we protect it and how we exercise your rights regarding the protection of personal data.

WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?
Personal information is information that can be used to identify you. Eg. your name, address, postal code, date of birth, gender, IP address, telephone number or your e-mail address and payment details. All information that is not directly related to your actual identity (e.g. a popular website) does not fall into this category. We collect personal information when ordering and purchasing our products, either in person at the company’s headquarters, via the website, social networks or via mobile phone. We also collect personal information whenever you visit our website.
In particular, the following categories of personal data are collected:
- name and surname, address,
- e-mail address,

- information on age and sex,

- information on the type of means of payment
- and any other information on payment, if necessary;

PURPOSE OF USE OF PERSONAL DATA AND STORAGE PERIOD:
- implementation of contracts, such as the execution of product orders from our website. As part of the exercise of contractual rights and fulfillment of contractual obligations, we process your personal data for the following purposes: preparation of an offer, conclusion of a contract, notification of possible changes, billing for services and other purposes necessary for the implementation or conclusion of a contractual relationship. For the purpose of executing orders, we process personal data, such as name, surname, e-mail address and other contact data, as well as data necessary for the billing of our services (eg current account). On the basis of the contractual legal basis, personal data are also processed to the necessary extent for the purpose of concluding contracts, in the negotiation phase, after receiving the offer or. individual demand;
- a legitimate interest which we pursue as controller and which is determined in your favor, always weighing your interest in such processing, except where such interests are outweighed by the interests and fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject and which require protection of personal data. In accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, direct marketing is also one of the legitimate interests;
- verification or authorization of payments with credit and other payment cards: payment data are used for the purposes of accounting, billing and auditing, as well as for the detection and prevention of fraudulent acts;
- administrative or legal purposes: the data are used for statistical and market analysis, system testing, customer surveys, quality control, maintenance and development, or for resolving disputes or claims;
- customs control: we may need to provide your information to border control authorities upon request;
- communication with customers: we use the data to strengthen customer relationships and to improve our services;
- marketing: from time to time we will inform you about our offer via regular mail, telephone or e-communications.
In each message, you will have the option to refuse to receive further such messages. Rejection is extremely easy, either with a return message or a phone call, and is completely free for you;
- your personal consent: to inform about our offer (subscribe to news).
Your personal data is processed solely on the basis of the legal basis for the processing. The legal basis depends on the purpose for which we obtained the data. In most cases, your personal data is processed in order to fulfill the concluded sales contract.

When we no longer need your personal information, we will securely delete or destroy it.

- request access to their personal data; consequently, this allows you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to verify that we are processing it legally;
- request corrections to the personal information we hold about you; you may reasonably request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
- request the deletion of your personal data when there is no reason for further processing or when you exercise your right to object to further processing;
- object to the further processing of personal data where we rely on a legitimate interest; it is exactly the same in the case of a legitimate interest of a third party; notwithstanding the provisions of the previous sentence, you have the right to object at any time if we process your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing;
- request a restriction on the processing of your personal data; this allows you to stop processing personal information about you;
- request the transfer of your personal data in a structured electronic form to another controller;
- revoke the consent or consent you have given for the collection, processing and transfer of your personal data for a specific purpose; upon receipt of notice that you have withdrawn your consent, we will cease to process your personal data for the purposes you originally accepted, unless we have no other legitimate legal basis for doing so lawfully.
